Vintage Parisian Dessert Table {Bridal Shower}

After creating a dessert table for her youngest daughter’s college graduation, I was thrilled to work with my client again to celebrate her oldest daughter’s bridal shower.  Here is our Vintage Parisian Sweet Treat Dessert Table…

{Bridal Shower} Heavenly Dessert Table

When Lindsay, from Cakes-By-Me, contacted me to setup a candy table for her dear friend’s bridal shower, I knew it was going to be alongside her delectable dessert spread.  Yet, I never knew this event would turn into a sweet treat haven. Another fun sweet treat dessert table collaboration between CW distinctive DESIGNS and Cakes-By-Me.

I quickly got started on the paper goods (labels, menus, cupcake toppers, signs, etc) because it needed to be cohesive and capture the  shimmery, clean essence she envisioned with white, silver and muted pink.  Check back in on our ETSY SHOP for these party printables; they should be ready for purchase soon. Quatrefoil is everywhere on the wedding scene, and I am obsessed!  Inevitably, this was going to be the basis to all of my printables created.

White Chinese take-out containers were used to store all of the guests’ goodies, and additional bags were readily available for the “overflow” of edible treats.

Desserts included mik shake shooters, cupcakes, chocolate dipped Rice Krispie Treats, ombre cakes, banana split bites,  cake pops, champagne popsicles, chocolate covered Oreos, a wide variety of candy favorites, and even more…  Check out our facebook page for even more highlights from the candy table that day.

Although the desserts caught much of the crowds’ attention, the home-cooked food did not go unnoticed.  The guests had a large array of dip options to choose from, sweet and sour kielbasa (close to this Polish girl’s heart), pulled pork sliders,  cheese and antipasto kabobs, etc.

Lindsay and her friends created place settings with silver chargers, and wine glasses in order to create some elegance.  Moreover, beautiful greenery and large flower pots were brought in to encircle the tented area.

Candy + Sweet Treat Dessert Table {Mitzvah Madness}

I love what I do, and do what I love and this was one event that encompassed it all!  This Candyland Bat Mitzvah pulled out ALL the bells and whistles; I was honored to be part of it.  This is what over 20 feet of candy + desserts look like…

Birthday Candy and Dessert Buffet Table

Candyland Birthday Pink Candy Buffet Station The eye CANDY of the evening came as the guests exited the nightclub and entered the bar that was closed down and solely devoted to the table of goodies.  They were greeted by a heavenly table of sweets, designed and executed by CW distinctive DESIGNS.  The Candy and Sweet Treat Dessert Table, logo, and displayed artwork coordinated together.

I was so honored to be able to design the labels and graphics for the table myself, as well as provide the ideas for the artwork pieces that were showcased, featuring the guest-of honor.

Every single element of the table was precisely thought through, coordinating with the theme and cohesively bringing the event together.

Candy Table{Maritime Parc-Style}

Going in the books as one of my favorite weddings of 2011 fell on 9.10.11.   What an awesome wedding date for such an extravagant event! This wedding was the start, for what I hope, as a long-lasting collaboration with TROIS EVENTS, Kasal NY Event Planning + MPW Media & Photography + KMG.  The candy popped and so did the green embellished details.  It was set inside of Martime Parc, a modern venue overlooking the Hudson, offering a perfect view of the September 11th Freedom Tower Memorial and lights.

{Jungle Theme Inspiration} Baby Shower

With  jungle-themed bedding, plush monkeys, safari blankets, and baby elephants filling the aisles of Babies-R-Us, it was inevitable that there would be a huge request for  animal-decorated baby showers.  In one month, I designed safari-themed candy buffets and sweet treat dessert tables for THREE baby showers.  Here is a little inspiration for the next baby shower you have to plan:)

Animal prints are a must-have!  They add some spunk and, contrary to some belief, are not confining.  Blending animal prints is great and coordinates well with so many color schemes.  Whether it is for a baby boy, highlighted with blue hues,…

for a baby girl, featuring varied pink hues…

or, perhaps, it is a SURPRISE baby, showcasing neutral colors.

You can never go wrong with themed embellishments, such as customized water bottle labels, favor stickers, and table signs.

Contact CW distinctive DESIGNS to create your jungle or safari themed baby shower.
